I;ve noticed my game just closing on some parts of the map (Even with ProMods standard map)
Any idea what might cause it?

Without a complete gamelog it would be blind guessing.

Best regards

I'm trying to edit the manifest.sii file and 7zip doesn't seem to let me just delete the original and add the replacement file; I either get a "operation is not supported" or an "unknown command" error if I either try to open the file inside the archive or try to add the replacement. Is there anyway to actually go and do that without unzipping all of the files and rezipping them again just to change a single solitary line in a small text file? This isn't a problem that I've ever had before with 7zip, and its incredibly annoying...

What exactly are you trying to do? If you're trying to make the ferry connection compatible, just open manifest.sii within the compressed archive, remove the compatibility statement line, save and exit.

I can't do that though - the thing just throws up the errors that I mention in the post above

Best regards!

That's what got me the "unknown command" error, and then if I changed the file extention to .zip it went on about needing extra permissions despite all of the .exe files that 7zip uses being set to start in admin mode in their properties - I eventually had to copy it across to my Macbook and edit it there since 7zip wasn't behaving and it seems to be working. I remember actually getting 7zip working when I installed Windows 10 was a right mess so it might be to do with that; I'm just lucky that I have another computer with another OS that behaves a lot better in order to do it

Which version of 7-zip do you have? If 9.XX then update it to 16.XX
