I'm trying to download the files.
The first one downloaded as a .zip but the second one has the 002 file extension.the same is happening with the 3rd one

Yes keep downloading. You need all the files (002, 003 etc) in order to extract the mod. Place all the files in the same folder and extract as you would do with ProMods.

SR seems to work fine with Promods after trying it out. It really does seem to be a different mod causing problems. Just be sure to download all the patches and do the following steps to make the mod compatible with 1.28.

Wow, finally got to explore the Southern Region a bit. It's a nice map, even though I need to check my AI traffic amounts, as they are ridculous at the minute in that area. It might have something to do with the AI vehicles slowing down to take the numerous hairpin turns.
I've also found a rather painful invisible wall, on the main road in Tuapse, as you head east. I had to use the other side of the road to get around it, after it had added 20% damage to my truck...
Edit - Okay, I've just gone back past that area, where the invisible wall is. It's right by where there is a slip-road that goes downhill into the town itself, with the black-and-white kerb stones on a bridge that crosses another road. Just in case you weren't sure where exactly I was on about.
