Can't get the map to show up ingame at all. Even if I set it to be at the very top all I see is the default SCS map. I download the "ETS2_LAMB_UNIV_EURASIA_SAT_BG_MAP_unzip_me.zip" file.

And you have unzip'ed it to get the ETS2_LAMB_UNIV_EURASIA_SAT_BG_MAP.scs file to add
at the very top of Mod Manager in the profile?

As I said, I tried setting it as the very first mod(Top) and all I get is the default SCS background map.
Latest 1.36 version with Promods 2.45 and following the recommended load order: viewtopic.php?p=265641#p265641
and the one in here:

But I asked you if you unzip'ed the downloaded ZIP-file in order to get the real mod file with extension .scs?
It says in the name _unzip_me! Did you do that?

Sure, ETS2_LAMB_UNIV_EURASIA_SAT_BG_MAP.scs is in the mod folder along other mods.

I downloaded another version of the same mod, ETS2_LAMB_SAT_BG_MAP_BORDERS_BLACK_PM.scs and it worked fine. The only problem is the scale is wrong I think, some cities in the UK are off the map.

There will probably be a new release pretty soon, where you will have
many of the problems sorted. Probably RusMap will also be updated!
