Yes, you do. Southern Regions is connected with the rest of ETS2 with RusMap only.

No it isn't, there is also posibility to come by ferry if you use mod for it. But it still does not anwer the question if one need RusMap. It is not said explicit, and have now no possibility to test it.

The answer to your question can always be found in the Readme file associated with Southern Region Map expansion. Just a thought. You're correct about the ferry mod from Constanta to Novorossijsk, with that you don't have to travel to South through Poland and upper Russia.

First let me try it with that ferry connection. If that fail to do, then i will add with RusMap. Every updates will be posted here.

How am i supposed to download this when it keeps failing to download. It will download then fail. This what you call time wasting not only can i download Promod map and get blocked after 3 files i then try to get these files.

Hi bro, I 've this same issue.
Just make sure you don't use any download manager (IDM, Download Accelerator Plus, JDownloader etc.) to to download these files.
It will download, then it will fail. I solved it by downloading files with the browser.
Remember don't use any download manager/accelerator.

I've read that in order to get SR map working with Promods and Rusmap, you need to open up the SR_(Def and Map) and delete the folder called 'Unit'. Ok,..done that, I opened it using 7zip but how do I close all the files back up again into it's original .SCS file?

With 7zip, you don't actually need to unpack the archives to delete folders/files. 7zip acts like a file browser for archives so you can make edits easily.

And even if you did, you don't have to pack it again if you kept the folder structure intact. ETS2 will load an open folder as a regular mod as well.

Then how do you open the .SCS file in order to delete the Unit folder within?

mouse right click, navigate to the folder, -> delete the folder, -> close -> done
