Not sure why my game is still crashing.

Followed the load order mentioned here https://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=14523

Downloaded all the files from the 1st post of each Map mod and PM 2.4. Applied the unofficial fix as mentioned in the load order page.

Still game is crashing. Even used the Great Steppe ferry fix. Here's the load order.

So there was a problem with black textures on OpenGL in Promods. It got fixed in 2.33. The fix is mentioned in https://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?f ... 0&start=42. When adding Southern Region to the combo with recommended load order a lot of black textures are back, mostly stones and grass. The best example is the area around Ivalo in Finland. I would be grateful if anyone knowing Russian enough reported this on trucksim club.

Well I have the problem that I put the files in the right order and everything works fine, except SRmap. The game does not crash, so Promods and Rusmap are working fine, but I do not have SRmap installed although I placed the SRmap files in the mod manager.

Currently it's showing in the new (viewtopic.php?f=42&t=14523) that the load order is:

Southern Region Map 7.8.0 Def & Map
Southern Region Map 7.8.0 Models 1
Southern Region Map 7.8.0 Models 2
Southern Region Map 7.8.0 Models 3

In my notes from past discussions and what I have been using for the last 2 or so years is this load order:
Southern Region Map [Def and Map]
Southern Region Map [Model 3]
Southern Region Map [Model 2]
Southern Region Map [Model 1]

Which is the proper way?

The top one is proper.

Align like this:
Southern Region Map [Def and Map]
Southern Region Map [Model 1]
Southern Region Map [Model 2]
Southern Region Map [Model 3]

Another question as it's been a year since I've updated:

The Map_SR7-ferry-PrMod240-1.34.zip file for connections to ProMods 240. How does this work? The zip file no longer has an *scs file in it, but the following:

manifest.sii
description.txt
Map Folder - with a bunch of *.data and *.aux and *.base files
Def Folder - with a bunch of *.sii

How do you use this?

Just noticed this "do not unzip, just paste the Map_SR7-ferry-PrMod240-1.34.zip file into your mod folder.". This should be on the front page with the download as it's not clear what to do with it until you search through many posts...
