This map has stopped being developed by 09_KZ. There is NO permission to take this work and update it for current or future ETS2 versions.

Description:

"Great Steppe" Map of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which opens the way from Europe to Asia with the help of the RusMap Project. The modification works both on its own (on the right side of the main map and is not connected to others, that is, autonomously) and in conjunction with RusMap, which gives a road connection with the map of Europe and other modifications ...
The map is practically completely redesigned, that is, it is shifted along a more realistic projection, similar to the SCS.

The time has come, I need to take a break, and at that time you can drive a little along the new roads of the Eurasian steppe. A new region has been added to the map - Kostanay region, in which the main nominal eastern time is +6 hours (previously there was only the western time zone +5 hours), which means that we are not standing still.

Features:

- Way to Asia
- Plain terrain, hummocks, steppes, deserts, semi-deserts
- Broken roads (in places)
- Sparsely populated areas, long distances.

What's new:

The new region includes six settlements closely related to each other and two settlements of the Aktobe region from where the main journey begins, about a thousand new game kilometers, so if you are interested, stock up on fuel, provisions and go!

R-94, R-103, A-27, A-28, A-29, A-340, M-32, E-38, E-40, A-33, E-121, R-114, P- 1, A-22, R-38, R-277, M-36

Installation order:

1. Unpack the downloaded files with the 7zip archiver, click unpack on the first file, then everything will be unpacked. All 3 files must be downloaded and located in one folder.

2. Place all unpacked files in the My Documents / Euro Truck Simulator 2 / mod folder.

3. Connect all files in the mod manager.

Note:

If you are using RusMap, then the file The Great Steppe - model2.scs does not need to be included!
To work correctly, The Great Steppe map should be below the mod list.

Police cars for the map "Great Steppe"

Description:

Modification adds Kazakhstani police cars to the map "Great Steppe"
There are two versions of the modification with different colorings for the car: Niva (also known as VAZ-2121 and LADA 4x4)
 Initially, a version was made with a white hood and trunk, but since I used to see this car with a blue hood and trunk as an "identification sign" in my car in the Karaganda region, I asked the author to repaint it. Thus, there were two versions to choose from.

Thanks for this nice work 09_KZ!

I've been waiting for this map for months, and really thanks for make it compatible with PM + RM + SR. And now Kazakhstan will be into my map combo.

I have a question, have you planned to build all kazakhstan map and reach the eastern mountains one day?

For gmtavares : physical connection between this map and southern region is impossible because Kazakhstan and Caucasus are separeted by the Caspian Sea, which is very long north to south. Atyrau is almost on the northern coast, we could probably make it shorter through a road passing by Astrakhan.
But otherwise we have to go down through turkmenistan, iran and than get up through azerbaijan.

My guess is if SR reach Makhachkala and The Great Steppe reach Aqtau in the future, we may see a ferry connection between those towns.

Perhaps the southern mountains of Shymkent and Almaty will soon come, than the eastern Semeys and Ust-Kamenogorsk. The Altai Territory is far from Europe. Wow, that's a lot of details thanks :)

And yes it will take a lot of time of course, as kazakhstan is a huge country with various landscapes. It's an ambitious project and i hope you'll go as far as you can to recreate the beauty of your country.

By the way, stuff that you have already made is a great addtion to the map combination.

I downloaded map and right clicked on .zip. I couldn't unpack. Then I select all 3 files and I unpacked archive, but model has only 300MB, while all arhicives have 450MB. Where is problem?

Did you use 7-zip? Mine seems to have unpacked the multipart fine.
