Hows it going? I'm Minecart11 and I'd like to show you some progress on my real scale map of Switzerland.

Heres some info on Switzerland.
Switzerland is a small landlocked country in the center of western Europe.

It is 220km long from north to south and 350km long from east to west which gives it a total area of just under 42000^2km.
There is 1763km of highway in the country out of a planned 1893km. It has a relatively small population with 8372000 people living there.

I started working on this project over a year ago and in that time we have gone through our share of problems and have worked through most of them. We are also in the process of merging with the Carte France map to create the F&S Map. (ETA for F&S will be determined when we are close to release) To do that, we will need to start working on a new route. Instead of going to Bern via the A12, we will be going to the French border via the A1, A5, and A16. This “new” route shortens the distance we have to create by 80km resulting in a map that will be over 450 REAL km long!

If any of you would like to help out go ahead! I use google maps and a background map to make the map.

Up until now, me and my team have used the built in content and FLD Prefabs. If you think you are imaginative enough to use only that content or if you are able to create assets yourself, then you are perfect for the team.

Not to badmouth you or anything, but how would 1:1 work? 1:1 means that every little thing that exists in the real world will have to be included in the mod. As soon as literally one thing changes (new buildings, new trees, new anything) you would have to update your mod to reflect that. Wouldn't 1:2 or 1:3 be a little more feasible? That would at least allow you to be a little creative with what you include.

1:1 can be creative too. 1:1 doesn't mean that you build everything like in Real Life, it means (for me) that everything is as far away as it is in real life too.

As of right now, just CH. Once Switzerland itself is complete then definitely.
