Hi oklik,
I see that you have a new project, so I would like to understand what is the future for AfroMap.
Let me explain my point of view; the pictures you have posted in the other thread surely look beautiful, but there are already two versions of Murmansk and some of the sorrounding areas(Russian open spaces has it too if I remember correctly), and even if your version turns out be the best, it would still be something we have already seen. It's not your fault obviously, that's how things actually are.
But Africa? Oh that's a whole different story! Yes, I know about north Africa in TSM 6.6.2(gone in the next version according to the developers) and Mario map, but even if you are ok with the implications(using an unofficial adaption to version 1.32 in one case and questionable methods on the other) it is still not the same thing as Afromap. Why? Three reasons:
1) As far as I know right now this is the only african map you can combine with either vanilla map or Promods.
2) Compared to the other two the quality is better in my opinion.
3) You stated that you plan to build the entire continent, but even if you build 1/3 you would go where no one has ever gone so far.
This is why Afromap is unique and precious.
So, can you please shed some light on the future of this map? I mean no disrespect to your Murmansk project and of course you should build whatever you want, I just appreciate your work on AfroMap very much and it would be sad to see this map developed once in a while or, even worse, gone.
Thank you for what you have done so far.

1. map of the great open spaces! there is nothing similar to reality, for this reason I do not play it since its release. for those who uses it that's their problem! I'm not going to adapt to it.
2. AfroMap will be released by the weekend. don't worry. she'll be fine.sometimes I want to take a break from the monotony.
glad you like my mod

No wait, you misunderstood me; I just meant that Murmansk is both in Promods and Russian open spaces, not that you have to work on both maps.
I'm really glad to read that about AfroMap, I was worried you would abandon it. Just to be clear, I look forward to Murmansk too!
Two questions:
1) I see that you are close to Libya, will we see it in the next update?
2) You posted pictures of the desert; what Country is that?

Good work! So are you going to start developing somes mountains? Because there is the mountain range of the Atlas which goes especially Morocco and all the north of Algeria and which would be necessary to be made :
