ProMods

I know there are two version out now thta have taken over making RusMaps work with ProMods, as well as some updates with RusMaps. My question is, is there any difference between 1.8.1.2 (gmtavares) version vs the 1.9.0 version by Sergey061?

Or is it that the only big difference is that the road connections for gmtavares's version is included in the mod while Sergey061's is a separate file that you need to download?

Any difference in roads or cities at all? Notice both now include the link on the M7 (unsure what the highway in Lithuania is called) between Minsk and Vilnius which I'm so happy about finally, but just curious as to any differences that exist between the two? Or are they pretty much the exact same other than the how the road connection is handled?

In my opinion, Rusmap 1.9.x is a more original independent map issued by Sergey and, as far as I know, he continues to work on its development in the field of merging with DLC Baltic. While the Rusmap 1.8.x does not look quite original, since it requires a ProMods card to work, which in turn makes it dependent. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Try to write your reviews ...

Ok thanks for that. I have been using the Sergey061's one and just wasn't sure if it mattered at all. I'll just stick with this one based on your comment that it is being still worked on...

Sergey061's version also includes a lot of the old Rusmap's St. Petersburg as well as a re-worked Vyborg. He's also going to focus on filling in the missing piece of Belarus in a future version

Even better reason then why I'll stick to Sergey061's version then...

I just use gmtavares version because it had ProMods connection integrated to it so less files to add. The only issues I encountered was an invisible wall outside Luga.

Would it not be possible to create a road connection from Vitebsk to Daugavpils?
