Well, I guess that's not how it works...
To become a beta-tester, you have to show that you care about this map. So, it means that you should report many bugs in previous versions, so you finally earn your beta-tester status.

I agree with you Żniwek. If you want to be beta-tester you need to deserve for this. Beta-tester is accolade.
