Been playing ETS2 for a long time now.

I'm getting bored of the standard trucks. Was wondering if anyone could recommend some great truck mods that are really well made that i could add to my game.

I've tried a few mods in the past but never seem to work for me, can never find the trucks in any of the dealers. I've always wondered why SCS haven't added a second hand/old truck market on the game where you can buy old trucks that aren't that good to help get started instead of having to save up like 100,000 for a truck, i know the starter trucks from each dealer are standard but I would love to start off by saving up for an old rusty truck for like 20,000 - 30,000 and using that to save up for the new trucks.

Anyway would appreciate some mods recommendations for trucks.

have a look to the SCS forum: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewforum.php?f=35

nearly all Trucks (if they are updated to current game version) works well.

Because manufacturers usually don't give away licences for older models. They want their newest model represented for better publicity.

A shame, I think it would be a great addition to the game, If I knew how to mod I would try and create a mod like that, even if I had to make up my own trucks

Don't these trademark licenses expire after some year? I ask cause for example L.A. Noire use 95 real name vehicles; some of them no longer exist like Studebaker or Packard but others like Cadillac or Chevrolet still exists. I doubt they payed licenses for all of them, so maybe there's an expiration date, after that you can use their names. I always wished to see a DLC of vintage trucks, surely it would be worth to buy it :D

Using an official brand logo anywhere in a game will always require a licence.

i believe that even if the brand doesnt exist anymore, it might have been bought by other company and still has someone owning it, and therefor a licence is still required to use that extint brand in other products.

Scania by RJL :) Not sure if you're into it, but it has lots of options to modify. V8 sound by Kapitan Kriechbaum fits very well, as do many others mods.
