A european truck driver is supposed to drive a european truck on european roads including asia based on real life. But everyone knows that now all the World is like a supermarket and If you want to buy something internationally you can buy whatever you want and whenever you want.

This may be a personal choice but you know there are lots of ATS truck mods for ETS2 and I love VOLVO VNL (Developers please make a VOLVO VNX 740 8x6 or 8x4 I will be so happy) . If there had been a truck dealer for ATS trucks (at least for stock SCS trucks) I am sure there would be lots of drivers buying and driving.

This is not an issue to be solved by Promods but some representatives may inform SCS this probability.

American vehicles cannot pass European road safety norms and vice versa. In addition, most European vehicles do not pass American emissions standards.

So I will be waiting for a Scania T cab.

yes they can. i live in the netherlands and i have a dodge w200 army pick up for example, all standart.
trucks can also be imported, most of them will be clasefied as euro 2-3 and cant fit normal size trailers since the total lengt of the vehicle is exceded.
or you need your lzv licence and then your allowd(if your boss also gets a permit) to drive 22.50meter combinations

normal max lengt in europe is 16.50meters

It is all about the total length of the truck/trailer combo. Europe has a max length for the standard combo's or it will be "convoi exceptionall".
So if you take an American Peterbilt you got to have a shorter trailer, shorter trailer means less cargo = less money.
