[DISCUSSION] Longer Trailers

Well hey people... I need a push in the right direction here lol.....

I'm looking for a mod with longer trailers, not necessarily heavier, but specifically "longer". I have been checking out different mod listings on different sites, but I can't seem to narrow down which one(s) offer the extended length.

I'm currently using the Promod map 1.98 + Russia, so compatibility with these two mods would be great.

Anyhow, any ideas would be appreciated.

If you want some longer trailers then go for the RoadHunter heavy trailer loads they are longer and they do work with all map mods just search in the ets2 mods section called RoadHunter and that should see the trailers you want

Jazzycat's trailer mods also have some longer trailers, take for instance this little thing I got as a quick job.

..... I seemed to have stumbled onto a pretty good mod. (American_trailers_JAWA_&_Stas556). It comes with about 16 new trailers (longer in length, and a couple a bit heavier). I'm delivering a longer trailer now weighing in at 29 tons. I noticed that I lost a tad bit of grip on the front tires though lol.

Its easy to notice that the game wasn't really made for these longer trailers. Getting in and out of parking lots with them is a fair bit of a challenge. But, that's why I wanted them. (for the challenge).

If you're looking for longer trailers (though standard) I use 2 very well-made mods :

- 53' spread-axle reefer by B4RT
- 53' Wabash dryvan by various authors (templates are included)

You'll find them easyly just typing B4RT and Wabash ETS2 for instance

Have a look for the trailers from "Micha-BF3". They are the longest trailers for ETS2 I have seen so far. And good lokking too!

The YT user video shows this truck at 1.00 if you want to skip ahead to it. I was expecting it to have a much bigger powerhouse than it does have considering it's size and weight but I suppose all those 18 gears will be used when it's full up!
