ProMods

There are various old threads out there with users requesting higher engine noises, but it's unclear whether the old mods are compatible with ETS 1.24 or the current Promods. Would any of you have any thoughts on how this can be done, or good audio mods that do it?

In my case, I'd like to hear more of the engine for the purpose of shifting and knowing speeds.

def/vehicle/truck/<truck_name>/engine/

Find the .sii file of your engine and increase "volume" attribute.

Do at your own risk, because some engine sounds may be suited only for its intended volume.
