I am sad to announce that Sgate's Weather mod in ETS2 1.32 doesn't work with Promods 2.31 anymore. I deleted the promods.climate.sii file in the def and it sadly still crashes on the loading screen.

EDIT: Even with a vanilla profile!

I’m going to try grimes frosty weather one. Where in the priority list do I put it ? Right below all the promods ones ?

above all map mods and sound mods

Eh, I stand corrected. The updated SGate Weather mod for 1.31 by SlavikSD actually works, but it has errors. Would need an update, but sadly DI3S3L abandoned this project.

Hopefully it's okay to bump this quite old thread.

It's slightly off-topic, but the outdated GSC weather mod still works in ATS. There are some errors (unkown climate arid), is there any ways to fix it? Other than that it looks better than ever combined with ReShade!

Anybody have an idea how to adapt it to ETS2? The one by Axelrol (Dmitry on Flickr) isn't the best because it is mixed with Summer Environment.

i was searching long long time for a good working grafik/weather mod. always there was something i didn´t liked. nights not dark enough, bad chrome, or what ever.
i use SGates version now long time in combination with this mods:



for my personal use i chnaged in mostly every mods something, but i don´t remember exactly anymore what.
this video is a bit older, but here i was using for 100% SGates clima and skybox + Klaas Rain & Thunder.

i won´t reupload the whole SGate mod with my changes, but you can try this. open his mod, delete the def folder and copy my one in. i guess it will work.
it will work with SCS default map, and also with ProMods without any problems.

Hey sorry for bumping this thread but I need help.I did the same thing you said (1.35 version) and it didn,t work game still has default skyboxes and weather(I did delete climate.sii of promods def).Im on 1.35 and im using ProMods 2.42+Middle East addon+Antartic Map+Pj Indo+Swedish Islands+ Project Balkans.Is it too much maps or?Im not using any other mods that could change weather just a few tuning and sound mods.Please reply as Sgate weather is 1 I wanted to try for years.Thx
