For English city names, watch out second post!

Hello,
I've just created a small mod which adds German translated city names in brackets to ETS2 1.33+ and ProMods 2.31+ (plus Poland Rebuilding/Project Balkans):








Load order:


Example: "Milano (Mailand)"



To some other cities in the UK were added dialect names of this cities with slashes. Example: "Glasgow/Glaschu"

The capitals of all countries are written in CAPITAL LETTERS on the map. (E. g.: "BRATISLAVA (PRESSBURG)")

If you use MIRFI’s Romania map or Poland Rebuilding, there are files included in the main archive which you have to extract.

Make sure to put the file above all other maps in your mod manager! Otherwise, not all cities will appear with German names.

It would be great if you post any critisms or suggestions here.

Activate only one of the two files, depending on if you use vanialla/ProMods/Italy map or Hungary standalone map.

Here are the English city names v1.0:

Adds English translations of the cities of the following maps/DLCs:
- vanilla map
- DLC "Going East!"
- DLC "Scandinavia"
- DLC "Vive la France!"
- DLC "Italia"
- ProMods v2.30
in brackets.
Example: "Praha (Prague)"

But keep in mind that there are not so many English exonyms ...

For those who want to see only the German city names and not the original city names, I've created the "German City Names Repleacement"-pack.
The pack contains no spoken dialect, but only German names.


Example: Trondheim

ProMods displayed name: Trondheim
ProMods + GCN (standart) displayed name: Trondheim/Nidaros (Drontheim)
ProMods + GCN (repleacement) displayed name: Drontheim

Hi Topolino, could you please create the German City Names for the ProMods 2.26, because with the version 1.3 for the ProMods 2.25, crashes the ETS2.

I’ll check and look for it when I’ve got enough time ...
But I don’t know why it could be crashed.

Ok, so the ETS2 crashes during the store and maybe I did something wrong. Here for you a screenshot and the Game Log.

You have alot active mods already tried with the necessary mods only?

Looks like you use the Real gas station mod which is not compatible with ProMods.
