What are your greatest expectations at ATS?
- Like many others, I want a big map (even if they present only California) - Map DLC Clarifications
- Besides the fabulous american trucks (like PB and KW) I want and european trucks (like Scania, Mercedes, Volvo, DAF)
- Although I believe that the remaining US map will be avaible as dlc's, I want a resonable price for those.
And now, what are your expectations?
Sorry for my poor english language.
American Truck Simulator - Expectations
I hope that we will have more trucks than just Peterbilt and Kenworth, but there is going to be mods
Ex-ProMods Beta Tester from 1.90 to 2.64
Well, California and Nevada will come as a part of the game - Arizona will came as free DLC in the later stages.modsland wrote:- Like many others, I want a big map (even if they present only California)
I don't see a point to have a European trucks in the N.America - The only truck brand I know, which concentrate on the America/Australia is Volvo - No one else do that! (The Only way those trucks would appears, is by mods, which will come eventually)modsland wrote:- Besides the fabulous american trucks (like PB and KW) I want and european trucks (like Scania, Mercedes, Volvo, DAF)
My expectations is:
- To get from West coast to the East coast without buying any DLCs
- Having a lot of trucks to drive, better customization of them.
- Buying our own trailers, like in the 18 Wheels Of Steel
- Meeting our own workers (Seeing how they a passing by, saying something on the CB radio, maybe doing a convoy with them.

I definitely want more American trucks but European trucks doesn't blend in. Maybe SCS hasn't got license to use other American trucks.

European trucks have North American versions aswell, like the Volvo VN (sold in North America and Mexico).
That's one of the main things i'm looking forward to.

American Truck Simulator mods, ATS mods - http://www.atsmodsland.com/
Scale of 1:32.5? YIKES! I was kinda hoping for more along the 1:19 that ETS2 uses and even that is a stretch. How do you even expect to fit cities in the densely populated Northeast? Well regardless, ill putz around on the Vanilla map until I get the feel for it. But I truly hope that we see some map mods fairly soon after development
Maybe Promods could work on America at some point?
