Do you plan on releasing an American Truck Simulator map? If so when is the estimated release date?

We are discussing with the team about the ATS, so it is too early to think about the release dates too...

So if you are discussing about making map for ATS - probably your team will split in two, and we will see one update per year for ETS 2

Not really...
The Promods mappers are not "employees" They are just people who say "hmm I want to make a good map of Spain/Romania/Iceland/etc." and they happen to be good enough for their work to be under the "Promods" brand.
There is no "boss" who will tell half the mappers "go make a map for ATS please". The mapper will choose themselves to do so.
And the Promods mappers are dedicated to their work. No one will abandon their projects to map on ATS.

In summary: no Promods dev will "drop what they are doing in ETS2 and go work on ATS". Maybe some will start a secondary project there.

Addon* Some of our developers don't want to leave the Europe, some may be doing little work there. We would not like to split up, and lose lots of great people to make the ATS better, then the European side is not finished. What we are mainly want, is talented people who are dedicated to N. America, and wants to do some mapping there - Old team is still here, doing the Europe, other.. The new team will be doing something in the ATS. If people would show up their talents in our "Show Your Working" sub-forum, then the ATS might happen soon.

ATS isn't a really full game yet. I think it is Very bad idea now to split up PM team, to weaken the power of these awesom guys. Very bad idea.
For now ATS is some kind of SCS's fantasy, that may be go on, may be not. ETS 2 is solid and strong project with many opportunities to grow up further. ProMods + PolReb are diamonds, pearls of ETS 2, don't disturb them. I really wish some time make a trip from Paris to Beijing or from London to Capetown with ProMods X.

Wow, driving from London to Beijing would be a feat for the ages. I think you'd have to go through Europe, then through the majority of Russia, then drive through Mongolia into China and after you cross the desert you should end up in Beijing. All in all would probably take you about 2 weeks non-stop in real life, so probably about 1 day non-stop on the ETS scale

While mapping these areas would take at least 10 years...
