Over the past couple weeks, I've been thinking if you guys were going to plan to make a ProMods mod for American Truck Simulator. Do the same with more roads, cities, etc. I've actually thought of a couple of examples for cities. Marysville (CA) or Yuba City, Colfax (CA), Salinas (CA), Victorville (CA), Corning (CA), and many more! I hope you guys make the mod for this game, if you guys have the time for it! Im looking forward to the future of ProMods! -----By the way, your mod for ETS2 is Badass!

We do not have concrete plans for ATS yet.

Also don't use colors in your messages again ;)

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

My idea was to actually reduce the number of cities in California to make more room for bigger citiesand longer drives between cities

To be honest, I think the scale of the map should be redone entirely, the current scale of the ATS map feels a bit too small for America. Although, essentially rebuilding the entire map from scratch would be a lot of work I'd imagine.

I don't see the difference in rebuilding ATS in 1:19 scale and what ProMods has done and will do with ETS 2. If you think about it, how much of SCS's work has been or will be left untouched ? ProMods has basically started over from scratch. Another benefit is you don't have to worry about SCS's new DLCs covering up your hard work. ( Scandinavia, France ) I see a lot more advantages then disadvantages in starting over in 1:19 scale.

Just my humble opinion. ;)

It took SCS 2 years to build at 1:35. It would be ridiculous for a group of modders mapping the whole US at twice the detail of SCS, but it is possible.
California in 1;19 scale would be about equal to Germany in ETS2.

I was recently planning on building the SF Bay Area (The triangle of cities formed by San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose) at a 1:3 scale. (standalone map)
I am so familiar with it that I can build the entire area without google maps

I don't think that only North America (USA & CAN), even other countries and the south too (Central and South maybe?)

But right now, I think that ATS should be more developed from SCS until ProMods team can start thinking about working on it... for me is too unfinished the game right now.

I would rather say equal to Sweden, in landmass IRL.
+ the ATS map scale is around 1:28. Altho the timing scale is 1:35?

Does ATS really need Promods treatment? It was unbelievably well made, even I was surprised.
