Everything seems to be set up in New Mexico already. Probably need to re-scale it though now that they have decided to go that direction. Most of the work left is probably getting things to look just right before they release it, that could take forever though as we know how long it takes SCS to do these DLC's

Speaking of rescaling:

Port Washington, NY
Glen Cove, NY
Long Beach, NY
Bethpage, NY
Amityville, NY

Dix Hills, NY
Patchogue, NY
Port Jefferson, NY (BTW, that city has a ferry)
Selden, NY
Coram, NY
Shirley, NY
Farmingville, NY
Islandia, NY
Blue Point, NY
Manorville, NY
Calverton, NY
Wading River, NY

blaze72003. These could maybe fit, with the new coming map scale:
Buffalo, Rochester, Binghamton, Syracuse, Watertown, Plattsburgh, Albany, New York.
Roads: I-81, I-84, I-86, I-87, I-90, "U.S. 11", "I-390"
But, I would coldly count on it taking many years before SCS is in New York.

To fit those you mentioned, they would need a stand alone map.

1:20 is the new map scale - the size of the state is not not big enough to fit there 40 cities. Scale will still be smaller then ETS - And size of NY state is at the size of Germany - and now count - how many cities are there?

New York in the rescale could definitely fit the following cities (in my opinion):

New York City
Buffalo
Syracuse
Albany
Oswego
Plattsburgh
Lake Placid
Binghamton

You might be able to fit the following:

Rochester
Utica
(Insert some city between Albany and Plattsburgh)
One long island city (possibly mantauk)

To be perfectly honest I would honestly prefer foregoing long island in favor of a more developed New York City

I'd be more interested in seeing what's done with the Adirondack Mountains to be honest. There's a lot of open land up there, could make for some interesting delivery points.

You can only dream about all that, NY is as far as, I don't know, Mongolia is from Poland. Very far away.
