Where is the Sandia Mountains? its such a prominent feature of the city seen from everywhere in the city its hard to miss those huge looming mountains in the Eastern skyline of the city, I guess the Spanish explorers thought they saw a watermelon instead of a mountain, perhaps the heat got to them that day. However, it does look like the time spent on the city itself seems to be worth the time spent on it, I can actually see some familiarity in these pictures. overall the terrain seems a bit greener than what I am used to when passing through the city as I do once or twice a year. Outside of town there is lots of grassy plain like areas heading west and south of town very little in the way of trees, its likely old lava flows out that way as Mt. Taylor is a old composite volcano, located just outside Grants. The only green spots in the area are along the mighty Rio Grande which hosts a large riparian habitat for large cottonwood trees to call home.

Not that bad for grenery.
Sandia Mountains, seem long, but quite narrow. Err... not that long tbh. Mixing it up with Sandia-Manzano Mountains.

The range is mostly just a few mountains that were uplifted by the local rift valley, in the image Sandia Crest is the taller one and the small one is South Sandia Peak. I could live with just Sandia Crest in the game since space is always at a premium.

I'm not too worried about greenery actually, I'm just comparing what's in the game to what I remember.

Greenery can change from year to year too :)
Small mountains, I think those can be a bit troublesome to fit in. Sadly.
Callipso, http://blog.scssoft.com/2017/08/new-mex ... -road.html here's part of the road between Sandia and Manzano Mountains :)

yea, that Musical highway is a neat little section of road. I would guess SCS made it so the song would play at any speed. in real life it really only sounds good and in tune if you are traveling at near the 55 mph speed limit. here is a short video of that section of road

https://youtu.be/rgizA_vDlzs [ can't seem to get the video link to show the video on the forum, oh well ]

I think the SCS one sounds bass like in comparison. perhaps they can record one of these videos for sound and just use that in the game, I don't think there is any copyright on these videos so its probably okay to use it.

As for the mountains, if they appear I'll be happy, if not well no biggie I guess I can live with it. That image was from I-25 which is about 10-15 miles from the mountains, Sandia Crest close to 10,000 ft in height so actually its pretty tall even if it doesn't seem so from that vantage point.

I can't know what you'll have to do to unlock those achievements, but at least those are the names from all of them.

Albuquerque has an elevation around 5,000ft. That's why ;)
