SCS just announced that the next state will be New Mexico: http://blog.scssoft.com/2017/02/america ... wards.html I'd rather see Oregon for a change of scenery, but it's still good news. On the other hand, do you think that SCS will offer expansion passes (like: New Mexico and upcoming Oregon and Utah)?

New Mexico actually has some unique geography and geology from Arizona, California, Nevada. I hope they include Wheeler Peak and can incorporate some of the volcanic lava flows around Grants along I-40. I've had the luxury of seeing most of the roads of western and central New Mexico, Defiantly is more exciting to the north as I-10 is pretty much creosote bush filled desert. Someone should suggest adding that particular plant into the game so many roads in the south west have only that plant covering the roadside for miles its almost a shame they were discounted, it would add some needed flavor to the desert also a Palo Verde tree would also be useful too. I could go on and on about the needed vegetation but I'll leave it there.

I hope they will include a mention of Carlsbad Caverns its probably the biggest attraction outside Roswell in the state.

Since they have two teams, one working on East and one working on North I believe the next state to be released is either Oregon or Utah. I believe they are going for a "Mountain States DLC" and "Pacific Northwest DLC", where as you get mountain states in the first named one, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and maybe Montana. While the Pacific Northwest DLC includes Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

I think they will probably finish off the desert states, that would mean Utah would be the next logical step in finishing that goal. Colorado would be a long way off as road connections from Utah do not yet exist. I suppose if they are interested in going into Oregon that they change the base terrain out there to a more lush green like in Europe as rainfall is very high in the pacific northwest.
