It depends on SCS. They need to finish their updating of CA/NV/AZ, before we can merge our work back in.

of course when the first beta, alpha, 0.01 version of promods ATs come available, all other map mods will be automatically deleted

What things SCS need to update?

Vanilla ATS is good already, it doesn't need more updates (imo). We do need more states ;_;

They are doing map changes very often without warning. For example, everyone knew exactly that 1.29 update will bring New Mexico and new navigation, but they never told that some roads in vanilla map will be added or reworked. I`ve learned about it only when 1.29 beta with list of changes was announced.

I've been noticing curve warning and chevron alignment (< or >) signs being added in California for some of the curves on the highway between Bakersfield and Barstow, signs that I don't remember being there.

They are still doing map edits? nice.
Carlin Tunnel would badly need a placement fix.
Now it is way too close to Winnemucca. Way too close.

US 60 Salt River Canyon, could use a placement fix too. It's too close to Globe and should be closer to Show Low.

Those are highest on my Arizona and Nevada replacement fixes needed.

Thought about buying ATS and giving it a try (been playing ETS2 with ProMods for quite a while now) but after I saw
we only have 3 states in the stock game and have to pay extra (12.99) for new states, I just started laughing.
There are another 45 states missing, are we to pay another 12.99 each? They said some will be free, so at best case
I can see maybe half of them being free... so say we have to pay 12.99 for another 20 states, that's quite expensive.

What I love about ETS2 is the long hauls, 3k km plus. Driving around CA is of no interest to me, so I came to check the
status of ProMods, and I've a few questions. Are you guys planning the development of the whole of USA or just polish
the work of SCS as they release new content? Any plans for Canada and Mexico?

ATS is from Feb 2016, two years have passed. I'm really surprised to see SCS has released so little content for it.
I've seen quite a few "Full USA" maps released elsewhere but by the looks of it I bet it's pretty empty, content-wise.

Sad.

@JeeF: SCS will eventually get to the eastern states, and because they're smaller, they'll have multiple states in a DLC. Texas will have to be its own DLC because its nearly as big as most of Europe. And NO state will be free.

As for what I understand, ProMods will only polish off the areas SCS has done.

Thank you for the reply, Shir.

I guess I'll check back on ATS in 2020.
