I would much prefer to see British Columbia before the Midwest too. The Midwest is mostly made up of flat fields.
You are right but the midwest is where I live so I would love to able to drive there in ATS. It does not matter what direction SCS goes some will be happy and some won't be.

After looking at Oregon DLC, I would say that Washington is a very strong candidate for next DLC.

In a developer stream at steam SCS sais they will begin to produce 2 states per year, washington + idaho could be nice, Utah + colorado could be possible as well. as they said that they are aware of the "L" shape that the map is getting.

On yesterday's stream, SCS announced that after the Oregon's release, there will be two teams facing 2 directions (so 2 DLCs in the same time). As there's an evidence that Washington is being released, the real question is: "Which will be the other one?". With that said, the unique 2 real options in here are Utah or Idaho and I'm betting more for Utah. So, after Oregon's release, the next DLCs will be Washington and Utah.
After Oregon, it could be:
Washinton, Utah.
Colorado, Idaho.
Wyoming, Montana.
Texas.

If they keep doing state by state.
Texas, might be the last single state DLC. If not combined with Oklahoma, that would make it a Super Size DLC.
yeah said it also yesterday? also in another stream. good good. looking forward. in fact they said that they aware from the map's "L" shape and im thinking that they should make 2 States which are bordering each other as DLC for 18$, the price of the ETS2 Map DLCs. but if they will face 2 different directions it is intersting and nice idea as well, so there should be a bundle that makes the price like 2 dollars less - if they will stick to the price of 11.99$ (the price of both New Mexico and Oregon)

Using the freecam, I can say that Washington's next 100% sure. Like a 20% of Washington is already done.

CptCaribbean, I am sure they have done more than what we can see with the freecam, but how much in %, no clue.
Yakima, we have seen a screenshot from "I-82's Exit 31. Sadly that part is not ingame now.
Did you too check Exit 38 on I-82 to Yakima? It looks nice, even with just the roads.
I was a bit surprised that they did not remove the roadbits that are in Washington.

I think Idaho because when you drive from Ontario towards Boise on the Interstate 84 eastbound suddenly sign Welcome to Idaho.

But I think Washington will be next, because if you fly with dev cam northern from Portland, there you can see some unfinished roads. Next unfinished road is I-82 near Pendleton.

What about sign 'Welcome to Utah' from Arizona DLC, 2 years ago?
