A bit of a non-argument since "Euro Truck Simulator" isn't a name chosen by ProMods.
If we were to add Africa to our map, we wouldn't let a silly name stop us. And we wouldn't even be the first ones venturing into Africa...
And true, USA will be (party) in American Truck Simulators, but what would stop us from connecting both continents, if we wanted to?
We're focusing on Europe because we want to, not because this is "Euro Truck Simulator".

I love ProMods' their work, and I respect their decissions, whether that is to expand outside of Europe or not.
Personally, I'd love to drive from Moscow all the way to the United States, or from Glasgow all the way down to Africa or Asia or whatever.
I am the type of person who only does 2.000 km+ drives in ETS2.
But whatever ProMods does, it's amazing work and I love them for doing this in their spare time.

Asuming ATS works similar to ETS2, there is a lot of knownledge and experience we could share with American modders. It might as well be possible for ProMods to get an Anerican branch for ATS. It all depends wether somebody rises up and starts such a project.
It is also likely that a completely different team starts modding for ATS with a ProMods-alike quality.
Time will tell.
