Zippyshare is not malicious.

The post you link is over a year old. I run Avira Pro and Malwarebytes Premium and they both flag Zippyshare as malicious, which I thought was clear enough.

The site itself may well be blameless, but is clearly being targeted for drive by exploits.

Okay, I give up! My browser was hijacked by ransomeware - hardly a "false positve" by any definition.
And I still think advising people to turn off security software on this site is rather irresponsible.

Complain to Zippyshare and they'll blacklist the ad network serving that redirect.

We can't fix Zippyshare's ads. They've fixed this kind of thing before, but they can't do anything about it if people don't tell them.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!

Some ads look like download buttons but only download something you don't want. You can get rid of ads by having an adblocking software running on the zippyshare page

No problem for me - I just click the link and it starts downloading, without any new page or anything being loaded.
