People having trouble with ferry CTD (possible fix?)

I was having trouble with a crash to desktop every time I tried to take the ferry in Douglas (GB), after repeated attempts it would always crash. I noticed some other people had a similar problem.

What made it work for me = I turned off sound effects in options, now it never gives me a problem, then just turn back on when the ferry is done.

Idk if this is common knowledge, but it might help!

Promods is awesome, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

This is a map mod incompatibility crash. There are some new sounds added to the game in the Douglas port area. If you have another map mod that overwrites our sound data then the game will crash.

I really only use the Promods map mods. I know it sounds cliche but I really don't use any other mods. Maybe something is going on with my computer, Ive not had any other troubles at all, in fact Promods map runs better for me the standard game map

You guys have really made ETS2 a more realistic and enjoyable game then it already was!!

I have a no damage mod in my folder but I have not used it yet.

Hm. Could you go there once again and leave sound effects enabled, so your game will crash? And then give us log so we can investigate?

It could also be caused by a sound mod
