Money problem (freeze, then suddenly lots of money)

So I haven't played ETS2 for a month or two. I installed the latest Promods and fired it up, resuming where I left off.

I clicked Drive and the game loaded up, but the game then immediately froze. I thought it had crashed, but then after another 10-15 seconds, it suddenly started working again. However during this "freeze" my money went from ~€36,000 to about €186 million.

I tried again without any mods enabled, but it did the same thing, except this time my money went up to about €196 million. So it's not related to Promods it seems.

I'm going to see about editing the savefile, but does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I have never used any cheats, trainers etc. with the game.
