Game crashing on loading

For problems that are not caused by ProMods

I Have recently had a complete new install of ETS2. 1.31 and purchase of promods map, but keeps crashing on at loading screen no other mods or maps. https://pastebin.com/E6idSWcX Image. Worked before I cannot understand why is not now.

@SCOUSER100, I suspect one (or more) of your ProMods mod files are corrupted/truncated, specifically "promods-assets-v227.scs". Can you compare the sizes of the files in your mod folder with the sizes in this image?

If the file sizes don't match then you can try testing your downloaded 7zip archive. If the test passes try re-extracting the files from the 7zip archive. If the test fails you will need to redownload the broken archive piece(s).

I do not think this is causing your issue, but I noticed that your system memory is below the minimum requirements for running the base game:

ok thanks Josh0. but even if it was a purchased download? how do you compare sizes?

The same files get extracted from a "purchased download" vs. "free download". Compare the files that you extracted to your mod folder. (Open your mod folder in Windows Explorer and select the "Details" option in the "View" menu)

Thanks Guys for all the help today the culprit that caused the problem was file 5.
