Actually I wanted to split the OP's message to a new post, but since there isn't a way to move just one post to a new thread, I had to create a new thread then copy/paste his message to it...

Rather cumbersome, but it got the job done!

If you look at the log, search for the first <ERROR> message. That will tell you what the problem is!

<ERROR> Missing mods or dlcs [3]: promods-def-v181.scs,promods-map-v181.scs,promods-v181.scs

This first <ERROR> tells me that although you added and activated v183, you FORGOT to disable the three old v181 files from your Profile!!!

Fix this boo-boo, then try again. There are some other <WARNING> messages from the obsolete Volvo VNL 660 By Panther v.2.0.scs mod, but shouldn't cause your crash problem.

I´ve tried all your suggestions but it still wont work :/ Any other suggestions?

It works just fine when I create a new profile, but not the one I´ve been playing.

The fix is simple, disable Promods 1.81 in your profile and try again

I have done that and tried with just promods and it still wont work

I have unchecked 1.81 in the game and removed it from the mod folder but when I check the gamelog it still wants to refer to it?
