Backround map in world maps seems quite off.

There is an updater on the game website but I have no idea if anybody uses it if you can use Steam.

I'm hearing a lot about 'steam' editions; I run ETS2 the ordinary way.
If I did change to 'steam', it's going to cost a lot of cash, isn't it? Plus, I'll loose all my progress etc., won't I?

Truthfully now, I don't know what to do for the best!

You are completely wrong.

If you activate your ETS 2 in Steam, it won't cost you any money (It will if you are gonna buy it, but activating your ETS2 with the CD-key is FREE). You just open Steam, locate tab "Games" from the tool bar and click "Activate a product on Steam". Then you just hit the product key you used to activate the CD version and follow the instructions there.

And, you won't loose your progress, everything's safe.

I was sure people these days know many things, like what is Steam and how does it work. It's not anything new so you must have heard about it already like dozen of times. I'm using it for many years and have more than 50 games there. Collecting achievements, joining friends in multiplayer games, trading small items that you can get in some games... Many, many features. Games are always up to date. Your profile is saved in Documents folder. You can always make a backup but Steam version uses the same folder so it'll just load your profile like the retail version :)

GUYS, I'VE SOLVED THE PROBLEM! :D

It was a simple matter of updating the Go East DLC  ; which I downloaded via the SCS updater, and used the 'gamershell' link to download from!

ALL 3 of the profiles that I created now work PERFECTLY!

I would like to thank Everyone who has been kind enough to give some thought to my problem and had some input in trying to help find a solution!

I'm now a HAPPY TRUCKER again!

Thanks again guys,

Keep Trucking On!

Hi Zniwek,

You were right!
