When you press continue game, FREEZE, and then load the map

That's pretty normal, it needs to load your profile and mods before it can show the loading screen.
And it freezes because of the amount of mods.
And it freezes on my game too. I have ~80 mods active so it freezes for 30-90 seconds before it begins loading.
So I guess your issue is solved.
