DLC Question

I do not own all the DLC required for the mod. Will this cause my game to crash? Will this not allow the mod to work?

It won't allow you to load the mod, as it would crash anyway.

So, can you somehow downgrade ETS2 to be compatible with no-DLC ProMods? because you can't do it via Steam anymore it seems

Oldest possible ETS 2 and ProMods versions on steam:
ETS2 v1.26.x and ProMods v2.12, requiring Going East! and Scandinavia, is the newest possible with these 2 DLC's. This, if only these 2 DLC's owned.
ETS2 v1.22.x and ProMods v2.01, requiring Going East! and Scandinavia, is the oldest possible with these 2 DLC's.
ETS2 v1.8.x and ProMods v1.52, no mods. "newest" with zero DLC's. This, if Zero DLC's owned.
ETS2 v1.4.x and ProMods v1.00, no mods. "oldest!" with zero DLC's.

@Shiva 1.91 with ETS2 1.18 is the "newest" with zero DLC's, not 1.52

Well... I was checking ETS2 versions on steam.
I can not see v1.18.x on steam.
But I can see v1.8.x on steam.

Earlier this year or was it late last year?
There was 1 that wanted to screenshot v.1.18.x and ProMods v1.91.
