Crashing after ADDING ProMods v1.52 (Christmas Edition)

My suggestion is to create a completely NEW Profile, and enable only the three ProMods files. Load ETS2 and make sure it is loading correctly. If it does, then go back to your old Profile, deselect all mods except the three ProMods files, and try it out. I have an "Unrealistic-Economy" mod that I use for testing. Quick jobs generate a HUGE amount of XP which allows you to level up very quickly.

You can then gradually add back the other mods one-at-a-time, and test thoroughly before adding anything else.

You have a TON of really ancient and obsolete mods in your ..\mods folder.

I have Updated some off the Mods(that were there), I also maid a new profile with only the ProMod Map and it worked fine. So the problem is one of the other Mods!

@n4gix.bill.leaming I do have a TON of mods in my folder but I also have a lot of trucks driving in my game(employees) I mean; not one of the same brand! But It's a good idea, it takes a lot of time but eventually I will find out wich Mod the problem is/was!

I don't know about where my first post went but second try.

I used two methods to download the Promods v.152. First I tryed via those 2 download links Part1 / Part2. I downloaded these 2 rar-packs but both file contents was exactly same - I mean Part1 / Partt2 and they are:

Promods-readme.rtf
Promods-readme.txt
Promods-152.scs sixe 302,219,693

Ok - after that I tryed all in one via PayPal - cost $1 and about what I found - yes, same file contest as I wrote above.

The DEF-file is missing and game crash so about where I can find this missing file?

You skipped the part in the instructions telling you to generate the def file

I know you finally downloaded the single file, but just for the record...

The instructions were very clear that you need to COMBINE the two separate files (and yes, they do have the same internal file names!), because those files were SPLIT into two files because the single file is too big for those free download sites...

If you use WinRAR or 7-Zip and select the _001 part, it will automatically COMBINE that part with the _002 file for you.

and normally i'm one of the few that really read readmes and instructions...


EDIT: solved, i read the step one better. One suggestion, made "promods-def-v152.scs" bold, so it'll be easy to focus on it.
