Every time we upgrade an SCS or Promods version, some of the mods that we have been using may not work. We remove the mods which then puts a red dot in any jobs that are displayed. The only way to progress is to delete these jobs and then we have to start our driving career from the beginning again, even though we have bought new lorries and accumulated a lot of money. As we have not read about any one else complaining about this, we think that there must be a way to not have to start from the beginning again. Perhaps one of the files contains data on money, lorries bought and status. Hope somebody can help us with this.

it does not require you to update the game, when you used not compatible mod the new version

It's because you're using incompatible versions. PM 2.01 does not work well on ETS 1.23
