About the new France DLC with Promods

A France map with places we suppose SCS will add in the game. You can see the cities choosen by SCS and exaclty where they are, the placement of Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) is approximative. "Batisse" is not on the map as i don't know what it is.

"Batisse" is the name of a company in-game. There's a deliver point of them near Paris, at the Peripherique

So I have a question - since there is already beta out there, it won't probably take long till the game update (and DLC release). Now I assume when the game updates for everyone, it will break the current version of ProMods, is that right? How long do you think it would take for ProMods to get updated? And since I'm relatively new to ProMods - can I disable them in my current profile and continue to play without them or would it break the save?

It'll take some time (probably few weeks) to update ProMods. Especially because of changes in map.
You can disable ProMods and it shouldn't break your save file. You can make a backup before you disable our map.

I'd rather use a vanilla profile and enjoy riding through France while waiting for the integration in ProMods. Just like I did with Scandinavia

for me, I went with 1.26 beta for a bit, and enjoyed it. I actually barely saw any of France because my runs just kept ending up in Scandinavia O.o

My #1 favorite part is the adjustable FOV, especially for mod trucks. FINALLY!!

However, I'm now reverting back to 1.25 because I just tried promods about a week ago. Utterly fantastic. I can't believe none of this is payware. Like seriously.
I switched between the beta and 1.25 over and over, and now I learned how to individually mod the FOV cameras for each truck, so now I'm back in promods again.

Unfortunately, I'm poor and can't even consider Viva La France! DLC right now....so I've come back to promods as it is now. I'm willing to bet the DLC will be required for promods' next version?
