UK and Ireland suggestions

Hi Again ,
This may sound nutty please bear with me , I can't see Fish guard on the original ETS2 map is it something in game or is this part of the project that you guys are working on ?
Like I mentioned elsewhere I am a complete newbie with this at the risk of incurring any bodies wrath didn't there used to a "Welcome to Scotland " sign with lion rampant on a yellow infill?
Mind I've living here in Australia for 20 odd years and haven't driven up to Scotland from London for years .
Like the screenshots can't wait for the map .

Id just like to say I really cannot wait for the UK/Ireland map to be released, if the attention to detail is anything like your current map im sure it will be fantastic!

Here's some more ideas I thought Id throw into the mix, although some have already been mentioned:

1. 'The little House On The Prarie'. This is a small farm building in the middle of the M62 east of Manchester. SCS actually parted the motorway accurately at this point but strangely forgot to add the farmhouse itself.
2. Where the M62 meets the A1 north of Sheffield it would be more accurate to have a 4 way crossroads, with the M62 carrying on east to Hull, meeting the A63.
3. The M4/M5 junction should also be set out like this (as has already been mentioned)
4. The Dartford crossing would be fantastic to see, although I reckon it would be difficult to modify the continental toll stations for traffic using the opposite side of the road.
5. The tunnels south of Sheffield and south of Carlisle removed.

Cheers, the problem with the toll gates is that there is no prefab that allows toll nodes to be on the left side of the road. If we had one, I would instantly add the M6 Toll and the Severn Bridge toll into Wales. We could possibly make it, but that's is some really hardcore stuff to mod.

Any other suggestion will be taken into account. Really do appreciate feedback on the screenshots displayed in this thread though

Is there any space to fit in Galway or Manorhamilton in Ireland? I would love to see Manor on the map . OH yeah how many cities in Ireland are you planning to make?

I like your Promods map , this is perfect
but I suggest your map next versions, I consider A63 connect to M62 motorway , This is very good landscape ,but M62 /A1 juctions is moved to down , and use prefabs to make new M62/A1juctions

I posted a crappy MS Paint extension to the original ETS2 map a while back on the official SCS forum for ETS2. The region we're concerned with is a bit small and has too many ferry connections but you get the idea.

That looks like a lot of work but if this region of Europe looked anything like that in game i'd be a very happy bear!

Like ScuL has said, extra cities is a lot of work (if we're going for realism) and if you have too many ferries (which is only two days' work), you end up with Euro Ferry Simulator!

Hi again
I am very envious of the map you posted up where do you get it from ?
I've looked everywhere for it have downloaded a few as well but have got absolutely nowhere !
I'm running ETS2 1.4.12 with Promods Scandinavia map would there be a conflict there as I really like to see a bit more of Scotland and France not forgetting Ireland !
When downloaded the relevant mods they show up in the mod folder in ETS2 as well as in edit in profile but when loading it they are not recognised and the game doesn't load .
Any suggestions anyone ?
