Ok so my DLC code and my game code ran out and then after I got those done, it deleted my current save game file that I saved yesterday with the 99.97 percent map explored. All countries were fully explored. Had all garages, had all trucks and drivers, 280 million euros, and a Volvo with a Squirrel skin with red goodyear wheels. How the eff do i get this stuff back? If nobody can give me an answer Im getting rid of the game for good.

Well, because the game decided to get rid of my old save game file, I had no choice but to delete the entire game. This sucks a-word. But I will keep going when American Truck Sim comes out. It was a nice ride for me while it lasted.

RoadRage, i have a few questions:
Why did you have to delete the entire game just for an lost save file?
Why did the game get rid of the save file?
Why could it happen?
I think it maybe was because you used too many mods, I don't really know  I understand this stinks but why won't you reinstall it? Sometimes it's fun to just start over again 8-)

sw3gameboy
Question 1: Because im stupid and i dont know how to retrieve a lost save game file if u dont see it
Question 2: I have no idea. It was some stupid SCS Register key bug.
Question 3: Happen? Well couple reasons for that but I only used 4 mods.

Anyway, I am not abandoning ProMods. So in the meantime I will play other games such as Euro Truck 1, Farming Sim 2013, Sims 3, etc. until American Truck Sim comes out for Steam Early Access. Sadly, I wont be getting new ProMods versions or the 1.9 patch. Will I watch DaSquirrelsNuts [Paul] streams? Yes.

Roadrage, don't say you are stupid. I suggest you shoud report that bug in the SCS forums, maybe you'll get answers ;)

QUICK EDIT: I think i understand now why you uninstalled the whole game, you eventually became too upset for your save file loss didn't you? :(

Sigh... No file is ever "deleted" unless you manually "Empty the Recycle Bin." Period.

Any file "deleted" is simply moved to the Recycle Bin. By opening the Recycle Bin, finding your folder or file, you can then right-click on it and choose the "Restore" option.

Problem solved!
