Promods loadorder in mod manager :

Promods Definition Package
Promods Map Package
ProMods Media Package
ProMods Models Package 2
Promods Models Package 1
Promods Assets Package

TrailerPack loadorder above promods map on rightside of the modmanager

promods-tcp-def-companies-v110
promods-tcp-companies-v110
possible other trailer packs
promods-tcp-def-trailers-replacement-v110 OR promods-tcp-def-trailers-standalone-v110
promods-tcp-trailers1-v110
promods-tcp-trailers2-v110

Only Promods loadorder in mod manager :

ProMods Def file 2.31
ProMods 2.31 -Map
ProMods 2.31 -Models 1
ProMods 2.31 -Models 2
ProMods 2.31 -Models 3
ProMods 2.31 -Media
ProMods 2.31 -Assets

With TCP added alongside Promods loadorder looks like this :

ProMods Def file 2.31

ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers Def Replacement (or Standalone if necessary – do not activate both!)
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers Def Main
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Companies Def
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Companies

ProMods 2.31 -Map
ProMods 2.31 -Models 1
ProMods 2.31 -Models 2
ProMods 2.31 -Models 3
ProMods 2.31 -Media
ProMods 2.31 -Assets

Only TCP and no Promods looks like this :

ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers Def Replacement (or Standalone if necessary – do not activate both!)
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers Def Main
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Trailers
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Companies Def
ProMods Trailer & Company Pack 1.20 Companies

No, all ProMods proper files go below the TCP files, including the def.

thats not what i am told does it make a difference? What happens if i keep promods def on top of the rest and what happens if i put it where you say it should be and the way the topic of loadorders says?

I was told by several promods testers and (lead) developers that promods def always has to be on top of the other promods parts and above the TCP parts.
It is getting confusing if everyone from/in/with the promods team says something else.

I set my ProMods files (map only, no TCP) alphabetically in the mod manager, never had any problems with that.
- Assets
- Def
- Map
- Media
- Model 1
- Model 2
- Model 3

If you put the ProMods proper def above the TCP defs, it will overwrite the TCP defs, defeating half the purpose of the TCP.

You can find the recommended load order under 1.35.x here.

In the future, please avoid bumping old topics.
