buildings and other man-made objects are likely to suffer from the scale of the game as well I'm not sure if they are 1:3, 1:19 scale or just made to fit in the game based on how they look when placed on the map. I know when I was doing tree models that it was unclear as to what the size aught to be in the game, so I went with a comparison approach and scaled based on the trees already made by SCS.
its likely they are quite a bit larger than they are intended to be since multiple scales are used on the map, highway (1:19) , city (1:3), UK (1:15) to provide you with a different experience in each area.

No idea what are you talking about, as 1:3, 1:15 and 1:19 scale are all about distance and time. Not about size of objects. That's the problem of this game. You have to fit real-size (1:1) objects into a city that has to fit 1:19 scale of the map (that's simplified explanation).

The only things that are scaled are long landmarks, like bridges for example. Just take a look at the Golden Gate or the Bay Bridge bridges from SF in ATS, bridges in SC, in the future FR...

Remaining 10% are patient people, who can drive, and drive, and drive... It would be a very realistic simulator then but it has to make profit to SCS. This game with 1:1 map wouldn't be bought by so many players and imagine how long it'll take to create. 1:19 is just alright (well, cities are too small because of it but you can't have everything).

but what about 1:15 or 1:10? cuz i feel like im in some hours in russia, while i wish to enjoy longer for 1 ride in my option :) but i know 1:1 is immposibol :) :) ;)

Any rescale is impossible for a map of this size.

I think the best scale is 1:10.

I think you should try to make a map in 1:10 then to see how much work it is unless you can imagine it right now. The best scale for including all awesome and boring things from Europe would be 1:1 but well, that won't happen.

You know that 1:1 is too big. Also, you know how 1:19 scale is brutal on some places.

Making a map like ProMods scale 1:1 would also mean you can not use the base. You can not just enable the mod and have fun with it.
It means one more step (besides the fact it is insane for a FUN game trying to achieve reality but without the real drive times) to take when creating rpofile, you have to change gamemode.
Like the old TDM (The Dutch Map) it cant work with just enable and drive, it will crash the game.

I like the way ProMods is and other maps that can work with the base (good or bad) that SCS provided to make this map a great change of scenery in its current scale.

I really woudnt play the game if SCS or maps would be 1:1 or 1:10 for that matter.
I play game for fun and not to pretend on PC to be a truckdriver.

The keyword being : game
If I wanted to be one I would have been one in reallife. Dont see the fun in driving more then 1 reallife day to get from point a to b in a game, also considering lot of people work and play games outside work, it would take them ages to do 1 load. And not to mention the people who would make it like that , not sure if testing would be an easy task.
