if i use the replacement files with another trailer pack would they also the replace the trailers in the other pack or do i have to use standalone when i use other trailer packs

You have to use standalone then.

That depends which version works the best with the given mod because some mods replace the default trailers in the game while others do not. That's why we've made 2 versions, for maximum compatibility.
