Any way to get this running with Oculus?

ETS2 requires to opt in for the 1.26.20 beta for Oculus support.
It is my understanding that Promods doesn't work with this version?

Is there another way to get Promods working with the Oculus, maybe by downgrading?
(Yes I looked through some threads here but the answers there were inconclusive. Just wanting to know whether there is any way to get PM working on the oculus)
