Help with installment

I tried installing the ets2 promod map, but it seems like it ain't working. I selected the quick download (paid download) but when i start up the game the mod says ''unusable''. And this is really weird, as it said ''install the mod without any troubles'' but i am still suffering troubles. I put all the folders of the promod in the mod folder for ets2, but somehow it isn't working, can someone please help me?

are DLC's seriously required? I only own going east

Yes, they are. Take a look here: compat.php
We're using assets from Scandinavia since it was released in May 2015.
And we're also using assets from France since it was released in December 2016.

You can use ProMods 2.12 if you own Going East and Scandinavia.
Or you can use ProMods 2.15 if you own all 3.
And you can use ProMods 1.91 if you don't own any but I won't recommend that solution.

Well, that's not our fault, sorry to hear.
I suggest buying map DLCs you don't own - Going East is crap in my opinion but Scandinavia is a new quality (check screenshots or videos) and France is even better, like a new level. And it opens a whole new world for you - all map mods available so you can enjoy this game forever.

only problem, i am poor XD. Plus i am waiting on a massive sale, like when i bought ets2 with going east for €1,70 together. Because in my opinion, the DLC's for €18 aren't worth it, because the game is €20

I mean, I don't have the money to buy myself a Lamborghini, but it's still worth its money.
