Hi,
I've never modded before as i'm not on line at home and think you probably need to be. I bought ETS2 by taking my base unit to a friends house and have also downloaded the France, Scandinavia and going East to the 1.26 update. I,ve looked at downloading the mod but i have an old vista pc with a 2.4ghz dual core processor and a 1gb 9800gtx graphics card, so it's really old and i can play the game on minimum specs.
As i've said i have never modded anything before and don't want to ruin the game. Reading the insructions it says it's optimized for windows 10.
Is there any way i can get some advice to see if i can the promod for my machine.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Rodders.

Take a look here : https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/c ... r-2/11492/

It should help you make the right decision or find additional information.

It even provides a sort of guiding tool for Windows to Euro Truck Simulator 2 compatibility, especially select the Vive La France word at the bottom of the search bar provided on that website.

Hope it helps, if possible upgrade your RAM to at least DDR4 or higher for better performances.

Not all of the older computers pass the minimum specs requirements.

Keep on truckin'.

Basically you could say the recommended specs for ETS2 base game are the minimum requirements for running ProMods at satisfaying performance. You're welcome to give it a try on your system, but I'm fairly sure you will experience many quite noticable performance drops.

Hello friends,
I have a question that I think is common to many other people.

I have no problems with the use of Promods, I am very happy that it exists.
Thank you very much to your developers.

But every time there is a new update, my question reappears:

When will I configure the DEF options

...

3rd item
"Distance of vegetation design"

low
normal
... high performance
... extra high performance

...

I do not know if the English names are exactly these, because when I access this page it appears in my native language. But I think it's possible for me to understand.

So see well
I know that my PC is qualified for ETS² + Promods,
however, I do not know how to rate it within these options.

Is there any table or something similar that contains these specifications?

I believe that if this information is clarified, many users will be able to make an ideal choice within their search ... between fps balance and beauty of the game.

Sorry for bad English, but it's not my native language.

Greetings everyone!
