There's a VR version, you have to choose it on Steam in BETA tab of ETS2 properties.

I don't know if the VR can handle all that huge stuff on the map so it could crash in my opinion

he doesnt have vr yet so he doesnt know & thats why he is asking.
I do have VR - I was getting an incompatibility error but I just figured out it was related to a DLC missing. Once thats fixed im sure it will work - but ill give you guys some feedback if that works.

If you own VR, try it. No need to wait for a dev to answer or something..

(sorry if I'm double posting - not sure if my previous reply got through as I timed out)
Once I fixed the DLC issue and was able to launch Promods, everything went great in VR.
This info is useful especially for those who don't yet own VR but are thinking of getting it to play ETS2 with Promods - but also for those like me who were having trouble getting it to work.
I'll be streaming this live in VR tonight at around 23:00 GMT just in case anyone wants to see it in action (vila4480 on Twitch).
Once I fixed the DLC issue and was able to launch Promods, everything went great in VR.
