Pro-Mods 2.17 with V1.27 Slow Loading & mods order

Last night I installed pro-mods 2.17 after purchasing the three DLC (France, East & Scandinavia)

in my vanilla "stock" version of the game before the DLC it wouldn't take very long for both opening profile & loading into the game itself to commence driving.

Whilst waiting for the Pro-mods to download, I played a little on the stock with DLC version - I noticed a slight increase to approx 30-seconds for opening profile and loading to driving.

After putting the pro-mods in, I began a new profile and notice the loading was substantially longer! I was looking at approx 2mins to load profile and around 30-60 seconds to reach driving. (I've not mentioned that I now realised that "real UK" & e"uropean companies" mods by Dan, available via steam are known to cause issues)

Following reading here, I've seen a variety of posts saying the order you select the various files from pro-mods in the mods manager - ALL of these posts though show a previous version of pro-mods also resident within many people's games - SHOULD I also be using a previous version of pro-mods? I would have thought that V2.17 would be pretty much stand-alone?

ProMods 2.17 is stand alone on ETS2 1.27.
Other people just use other mods along side ProMods (like RusMap or Balkan map)

My game takes quite a while to load ProMods too, that's perfectly normal. My game takes even longer the 2min.. Even though all my game and mod files are on SSD.
ProMods adds A LOT of new content to the game, not only roads. Also bridges, buildings, signs and other stuff.
This all adds to the loading time of the game.

ProMods adds almost 7 GB of content to the game, therefore it increases the loading time.

It takes 5 minutes for me to load promods+rusmap+southern region+promods extension+project balkans

2 minutes. This is nothing compared to my 13 to 14 minutes on my old athlon powered potato. I use PM+RM+SR.
