SCS recently launched the beta update for version 1.28 which includes doubles. The question is will it work with Promods?

No. Every beta version is not compatible with ProMods. But you can downgrade version to 1.27 and play ProMods ;)

Betas never work with ProMods. Just wait until we release an updated version of ProMods for ETS2 1.28.
