Fun fact: the last few releases of ProMods, and big ETS2 patches that revert you back to your base, have come at times when I've decided to finally start to do something that I've always meant to do since I got Pro Mods - the long drive up to Svalbard. Usually the thing drops when I'm halfway there and because I'm based in Brussels I just decide not to bother, because its a long way. I mean I could teleport but, eh, I've not done that yet and I'd always feel that I'm missing something on the way there.
Currently, I'm parked in Murmansk which is as close as I've actually gotten. Just one of those vaguely amusing things... Does mean that if the new version drops tomorrow, then I'm definitely delaying the install until I finally get to Longyearbyen because I'm so close!
Incidentally: very nice drive up so far: although I did have one of those lovely AI moments on one of the many roundabouts on the way up which soured it a bit (truck pulled out at full speed right when I was already in front of their entrance which caused a fair amount of cargo damage which is always annoying).

I actually started a game with my starting garage in Longyearbyen (bad idea, very long ferry ride lol). I knew we had 1.28 coming and was just playing around up there for a few days. Very nice area however and quite well made. There were a couple places where I think the speed limits needed some fixing (east from Nikel to Murmansk there is an obstruction you have to slow to 20km/h for, then it keeps you at 20km/h for a very long time afterwards. Westbound it is fine) I just have not had time to go back and get proper co-ords to make a proper report.
