I actually started a game with my starting garage in Longyearbyen (bad idea, very long ferry ride lol). I knew we had 1.28 coming and was just playing around up there for a few days. Very nice area however and quite well made. There were a couple places where I think the speed limits needed some fixing (east from Nikel to Murmansk there is an obstruction you have to slow to 20km/h for, then it keeps you at 20km/h for a very long time afterwards. Westbound it is fine) I just have not had time to go back and get proper co-ords to make a proper report.

Definitely worth the time driving up there!

I actually didn't realise the ferry was the best part of two days... Must make loan repayments annoying since I'd imagine that you're not getting any journeys away from Longyearbyen/Kirkenes/Murmansk unless you make the long drive into Finland for more things to open up. Luckily, I don't have that problem!

Its a very nice place, although I'd imagine it'd look a lot, lot nicer on max graphics settings but I don't want to blow up my computer. Arrived in early morning (which was dark, which I think is wrong this time of year but I can't imagine that they designed the game to have places near the Arctic Circle) and that added a nice atmosphere to the place. One minor complaint is that literally the only jobs back went to Murmansk and not anywhere further but I'd assume that the game won't allow you to go above a certain distance even with distance being full and the 1,000km ferry throws the calculations off. Certainly a drive I'd recommend!
