Hi!
First: I'm sorry if this is not the appropriate place for this question, searching gave me nothing and I'm new in terms of exploring this forum (hi guys!).

I'm curious as to what experience others have with the draw distance setting when generating the def file for the mod (my specs are below). I'm really just wondering how extreme is "extreme performance PC"?
I'm also running a VR setup with mostly high/ultra settings. No graphics mods installed.

CPU: i7-4790K
RAM 32GB
GPU: GTX 1070 OC'd

Extreme PC would be i7 4GHz or faster with 2x GTX 1080 SLI or similar.

I typically recommend to just keep it on default, but you can increase it and see how many fps you get.

Thanks!

I'll try "high performance pc" first, since I'm a sucker for good graphics ;) And I'll try to remember posting results here in case someone else has the same question :)

I have GTX 970 and i7-5820K and I get almost no lag with "high performance PC" setting (except in major cities).

well there is no fps dropping on HIGH DISTANCE SET, but kind of lagging while loading other tiles.
short freezing while moving, like microstuttering.

If you are using no additional mods, you can set that option even on I5 CPU. Just remove DOF.

I am using Ultra Drawing Distance and i don't have any problems with low fps, sometimes my fps reaches 60 and in big cities it can drop to 25. I have everything maxed in graphic options. My PC specification:
Intel i5-6400
MSI Geforce GTX 950
8 GB RAM

Thanks for all the feedback!

The settings I went with ended up with fairly low fps while in medium or bigger cities and in open areas with lots of vegetation. Since low fps is super nauseating while in VR, I'm gonna try the default option.

I have one question though; do I have to download the entire mod again, or can I just generate a new def file?

You can just generate a new def file, no need to re-download everything.
